The theory of impact pulverization was summarized, and the mechanism of pulverization and recovery of ordinary plastics by plastic pulverizer at normal temperature was studied. The effects of process parameters such as rotational speed, feeding size, feeding speed and outlet position on plastic crushing effect were studied by plastic crushing experiments. According to its structural properties and the description of plastic powder, combined with the collision characteristics of high frequency, high speed, high stress and high strain rate of powder in the crusher, a new view is put forward that the crushing effect belongs to brittle fracture.
